Maintenance Manager (Aviation/Defence): Managing maintenance and support resources for training devices across multiple sites with an accent on simulator servicing, personnel development, supply operations, and regulatory compliance. Focus on improving maintenance efficiency, coordinating technician rosters, delivering customer training outcomes, and controlling budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Location: On-site in Bankstown, Australia, five days a week, from 9am–5pm or during required shift hours. Support for other sites, including Richmond, Nowra, and Williamtown, may be required.

What you will do
- Manage and coordinate maintenance and support personnel across assigned sites.
- Lead a team of Simulator Technicians, including roster management and professional development.
- Deliver maintenance and supply support services within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Ensure training devices are maintained according to regulatory requirements and certifications.
- Improve maintenance efficiency, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting while executing quality and environment, health, and safety systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a team.
- Experience in a technician or maintenance-related role.
- Experience in aviation and/or defence is preferred.
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
- Must be able to work on-site in Bankstown five days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation devices or related technology.
- Technical project management or project engineering experience.
- Ability to support additional sites when required.
