Design Release Engineer - Energy Conversion Systems (GPS): Lead the design, development, and release of Global Propulsion System components for vehicles with an accent on hardware/software integration and lifecycle management. Location: Hybrid in Toluca, México (expected to report to office at least 3 times a week). Travel required <25%. Sponsorship not supported. No relocation benefits.

What you will do

• Lead design, development, and integration of GPS hardware/software into vehicle architectures.
• Manage GPS design lifecycle using Engineering Release Systems and ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive group problem-solving and implement solutions for design challenges.
• Lead cross-functional teams for seamless integration and timely feature releases.
• Apply Waterfall Model for project phases from concept to production with full documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders on specifications and issue resolution.
• Conduct design reviews using Teamcenter Visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in design, development, and integration of GPS components (e.g., Turbo Oil Pipes, Coolant Hoses).
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Release Systems (GVDP, PRTS, DFMEA/PFMEA, GART, P-Release, DFSS, Red X, PPAP).
• Experience with Waterfall Model or similar methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and group problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and results-oriented mindset.
