What you will do

• Solve ECU (Engine Control Unit) related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains.
• Adapt calibration data to fulfill emissions limits, drivability concerns, fuel consumption, and performance targets.
• Steer the development and implementation of improvement measures to optimize KPIs for engine or hybrid system operation.
• Investigate root causes of issues, analyze data, and report testing results.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable studies.
• Genuine interest and knowledge in internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Strong coordination, communication, and team skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automotive electronics.
• Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN, etc.).
• German language proficiency.
