TL;DR

Accounts Receivable Controller (Finance): Managing a ledger of customer accounts and taking full ownership of aged debt to minimize risk and maximize cash flow with an accent on debt collection, account reconciliation, and payment processing. Focus on resolving customer issues within SLAs, utilizing spend management portals, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Location: Hybrid; must spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at the Watford office

What you will do

  • Manage a dedicated ledger of customer accounts and take full ownership of aged debt.
  • Perform collection and allocation of customer receipts according to agreed terms.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
  • Deliver invoices and statements and perform regular account reconciliations to determine debt positions.
  • Process debit and credit notes as well as monthly customer direct debit payments.
  • Utilize customer Spend Management Portals, such as Coupa, to upload invoice data and secure payments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and debt management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, specifically with formulas and V-LOOKUPS.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize individual workload and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work from the Watford office at least 2 days a week.

  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Experience using NetSuite.
