Accounts Receivable Clerk

Salary: £38,000-£42,000 per annum

Growing consumer retail business handling import/export and stock.

What you will do

• Issue sales invoices across entities in GBP, EUR, and USD, maintain records, and ensure accurate customer billing.
• Reconcile, collect, and clear aged debtors; assist operations with invoice processing.
• Code and post invoices, process payments, reconcile supplier statements, and handle queries.
• Maintain banking records in Xero and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts.
• Contribute to month-end processes and office administration tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum three years' experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable roles.
• High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organised, self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Office skills essential.

Nice to have

• Accounting qualifications such as AAT.
• Xero experience.
• Retail industry experience, including import/export and stock exposure.
