Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 a year

What you will do

• Design and implement backend application components, specifically FHIR operations, using Java.
• Develop and maintain core product code with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build and iterate on proof-of-concept integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customers or identified during testing.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and research new technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Solid experience with Java and Spring; working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with end-to-end feature development and unit testing practices.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Experience with Apache Camel and building robust integration patterns.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR.
