Location: Worldwide Remote. Some intersection with EST working hours is required. Relocation to EU, UK, or US is negotiable.

Salary: $8,000–$12,000 per month net

What you will do

• Scale the core Exchange platform handling up to 1 million transactions per second.
• Optimize ad-serving logic based on advanced statistics and machine learning.
• Develop low-latency systems returning responses from dozens of parties in milliseconds.
• Implement cloud computing, event-driven I/O, and self-healing system architectures.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team using TDD, CI, and rigorous code reviews.

Requirements

• Mastery of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization (CPU, Memory, I/O).
• Proven experience with high-scale systems (>500 req/sec).
• Expert knowledge of the Java language, platform, and ecosystem.
• Experience with automated testing, including TDD, Mocking, and Integration tests.
• Ability to navigate and work within a Linux environment.
• English proficiency for collaboration with a US-based team.

• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Experience with open-source projects and tools.
