Salary: $225,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes targeting a 7-day close and prepare reporting packages with variance analysis for management and board.
- Manage billing lifecycle, automate recurring cycles, ensure ASC 606 compliance, and oversee collections to maintain healthy DSO.
- Supervise procure-to-pay, sequential liability for media vendors, credit card programs, and working capital optimization.
- Establish capitalization policies per ASC 350-40 and ASC 985-20, implement time-tracking, and handle documentation and impairment testing.
- Design robust controls to prevent fraud, optimize ERP (NetSuite/Intacct) integrations with CRM, and serve as liaison for audits and tax compliance.
- Manage team of 6-8 across accounting functions and partner with client services and operations.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in VC/PE-backed company; Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA required.
- Expert in US GAAP, especially ASC 606; advanced proficiency in ERPs like NetSuite/Sage Intacct and Excel modeling.
- Experience managing/automating finance processes in professional services, tech, or SaaS; strong attention to detail and cross-functional leadership.
- Clear communicator able to partner across teams.
