Salary: $140,000-$180,000 depending on experience

Private investment firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in acquisition and management of manufactured housing communities across the United States with $140M in assets under management.

What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP across multiple property, fund, and corporate entities.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations, and investor distributions.
• Partner with operations, acquisitions, and underwriting teams to provide financial insights and benchmarks.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate with auditors and tax advisors for compliance and K-1 reporting.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, building scalable processes and workflows for growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Real estate or property management accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing multi-entity accounting environments.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills; advanced Excel and accounting software.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience with property management systems like Rent Manager.
• Process improvement and accounting system optimization.
• Familiarity with real estate investment structures.
