What you will do

• Lead the development of complex structural repairs and modifications for commercial aircraft fleets.
• Perform static strength analysis and create comprehensive substantiation reports to ensure airworthiness.
• Provide expert liaison support during heavy maintenance (C/D Checks) and modification programs.
• Evaluate structural damage and develop compliant repair solutions, often using reverse engineering.
• Interpret and apply FAA regulations (FARs, ADs) and internal airworthiness policies to all engineering outputs.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of structural repair design experience specifically in the aviation industry.
• 3+ years of direct engineering liaison support during heavy maintenance or major modification events.
• Proven background in Static Strength Analysis and work instruction development.
• Deep knowledge of commercial aircraft platforms, specifically Boeing and Airbus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in reverse engineering aircraft structures.
