TL;DR

Hardware Engineering Project Manager II (CI): Lead cross-functional hardware projects spanning continuous improvement, yield enhancements, and electromechanical redesigns with an accent on performance, cost, quality, and scaling innovation. Focus on creating project plans, coordinating builds with manufacturing partners, managing risks and dependencies, and refining engineering processes.

Location: On-site in Boston, MA. Must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000

What you will do

  • Lead hardware projects from kickoff to launch, focusing on performance, cost, and quality improvements
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, balancing timelines, resources, and risks
  • Coordinate engineering builds and development with internal teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for timely decisions and alignment
  • Identify and resolve project risks, dependencies, and blockers
  • Refine hirify.global’s Continuous Improvement Engineering processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in hardware product development
  • 3+ years in consumer electronic product development
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional hardware projects from development to launch
  • Strong understanding of product component cycles, lead times, and sourcing
  • Experience communicating with engineering, manufacturing, and international partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder management
