Service Center General Manager

TL;DR

Service Center General Manager (Environment & Energy): Overall operational responsibility of the Service Center location, managing service execution projects, personnel, budgeting, profit/loss, and safety compliance with an accent on technical guidance, customer support, and facility maintenance. Focus on developing policies, preparing quotations, approving expenses, and ensuring equipment service performance under business demands.

What you will do

• Manage overall operations, profit/loss, budgeting, and employees at the Service Center.
• Ensure safety requirements are followed with regular evaluations.
• Oversee service execution projects and on-site support as required.
• Provide technical guidance, assign technicians, and manage training programs.
• Prepare quotations, approve timesheets/expenses, and report on repair progress.
• Maintain tools, prepare capital investments, and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a service facility.
• Understanding of financial aspects, service/repair business, and high technical aptitude.
• Strong leadership, people skills, self-motivation, and organization.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong SAP knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and comply with all OSHA safety policies.
