What you will do

• Develop protective setpoints per industry standards, best practices, and client requirements.
• Work with system modeling software (ASPEN, CAPE, CYME, ETAP, SKM) for protection analysis.
• Create downloadable setpoint files on relay platforms like SEL AcSELerator Quickset and GE Enervista.
• Develop and manipulate logic for protection and control schemes.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, perform calculations, and manage data for projects.
• Coordinate with teams, mentor entry-level staff, and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
• Knowledge of departmental standards, engineering codes, and B&V policies.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and resolve problems.
• All applicants must pass pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records.

Nice to have

• 1-4 years in Transmission industry.
• Experience with Protection & Control design (one-lines, schematics).
• Familiarity with relay settings, system modeling software, NERC standards, IEC 61850, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of substation protection schemes and protective relays.
