What you will do

• Design, develop, and test undersea communication and power systems.
• Perform circuit design, mixed-signal analysis, and troubleshooting at board and module level.
• Lead high-voltage DC power module design from watts to kilowatt+ converters.
• Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for electronic systems.
• Support assembly, validation, and testing using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power meters.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to R&D initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM + 5+ years experience; or Master’s + 3+ years.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and circuit design.
• Experience with high voltage DC power systems and/or power electronics.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and testing with lab equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with fiber optics, isolated switching converters, and power transmission.
• Building circuit boards and assemblies in lab.
• Background in analog design, instrumentation, and schematic analysis.
• Familiarity with DoD systems or Agile development.
• R&D experience in innovative electronic design.
