TL;DR

Lead Analyst Tax Reporting (Finance): Supporting tax accounting activities and financial statement reporting with an accent on ASC 740 calculations and tax provision management. Salary: $120,000 – $143,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform quarterly and annual income tax accounting and reporting functions using ASC 740.
• Administer and manage the One Source Tax Provision system for the year-end close process.
• Prepare tax basis balance sheet studies and return to provision analyses.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit to provide required documentation for internal control testing.
• Lead state apportionment calculations to derive the organization’s annual effective tax rate.
• Organize tax accounting information to support third-party providers in the tax return preparation process.

Requirements

• 6+ years of federal, state, and local tax provision/compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related major.
• Fluency in One Source Tax Provision software, including setup and administration.
• Deep knowledge and application of FAS 109/ASC 740 Tax Accounting.
• Experience with tax compliance review of federal, state, and other jurisdictions.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in energy, private equity, or real estate.
• Experience with tax analytic tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and AI-related applications.
