What you will do

• Assign and edit high-quality, medically accurate content, particularly in the areas of the Nursing Profession.
• Manage the entire editorial workflow from start to finish, including working with freelancers and staff writers.
• Collaborate with SEO teams, medical reviewers, and photo editors to enhance online content.
• Analyze traffic metrics and audience engagement to inform strategic editorial planning.
• Review key specialty journals and monitor competing information sources to identify news coverage opportunities.
• Approve articles and subject lines for newsletters and contribute to social media initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of editing experience with an online Health, Wellness, News, or Lifestyle brand.
• Master’s degree in Life sciences, Pharmacy, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in biostatistics.
• Experience creating interactive content and working within a CMS.
• Ability to maintain high standards of literacy and accuracy to engage physician audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from the El Segundo, CA office.
