What you will do

• Perform RF optimization and performance management for LTE and 5G networks.
• Optimize RAN KPIs and performance counters to improve network capacity and performance.
• Manage the mobile network lifecycle, including modernization, swap, and roll-out processes.
• Utilize planning and optimization tools such as ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, NetAct, and U2020.
• Collaborate in multicultural environments to ensure high-quality network connectivity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the telecommunications sector as a RAN Optimization Engineer.
• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a similar technical background.
• Expertise in 5G NR, 3GPP specifications, and legacy mobile technologies (2G, 3G, 4G).
• Strong knowledge of communications theory and RF fundamentals (NB-IoT, VoLTE, WCDMA, GSM).
• English: B2+ proficiency mandatory.
• Location: Must be based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Open RAN protocols.
• Familiarity with BI, SQL, data processing, and Python scripting.
• Proficiency in French or Spanish.
