Electrical Systems Engineer (MedTech)

Anticipated salary range: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Own system-level electrical development from concept through validated, shippable hardware.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, test, and quality engineers to develop and launch product features and accessories.
• Investigate product changes, evaluate peripheral components, and integrate modules into existing designs.
• Bring up and program new PCBAs, validate electronics for production readiness, and support manufacturing through BOM and component improvements.
• Debug field and manufacturing failures across electrical systems, firmware interactions, system logs, and quality processes.
• Design and execute test suites, operate laboratory equipment, analyze data, and document technical conclusions.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience shipping hardware to the field.
• Strong foundation in circuit theory and analysis.
• Hands-on experience designing, testing, and analyzing mixed-signal circuitry.
• Familiarity with embedded firmware.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
• Experience with scripting tools such as Python.
• Experience developing medical or health devices in FDA- or ISO-regulated environments.
