Value Stream Manager

TL;DR

Value Stream Manager (Manufacturing): Lead manufacturing processes across multiple value streams to drive operational efficiency, safety, and on-time high-quality product delivery within cost targets. Focus on championing health/safety/6S programs, eliminating waste via continuous improvement tools, and ensuring resource availability for schedule attainment.

Location: DuQuoin, IL (onsite, manufacturing shop floor & office environment)

What you will do

• Champion health, safety, environment, and 6S programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to eliminate waste and improve process capability.
• Use continuous improvement tools to troubleshoot issues and eliminate root-cause failures.
• Ensure availability of labor, technical, maintenance, and support resources for the value stream.
• Coordinate with Production Control for schedule sequencing and attainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3-5 years of leadership experience required
• Results-driven with ability to manage complex tasks in high-performance manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, and administrative skills.
• Ability to motivate, communicate, and lead continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Experience managing other managers.
• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Greenbelt certification.
• Manufacturing management experience in team-based environment.
• Project management experience.
