What you will do
- Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production and engineering needs.
- Order production and engineering parts from approved vendors and track purchase orders, deliveries, shortages, and backorders.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material tracking records; update spreadsheets, ERP systems, and internal documents.
- Coordinate schedules between engineering, production, and suppliers; support production planning and material readiness.
- Communicate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and order status; support engineers and technicians with administrative/logistical tasks.
- Organize documentation (work instructions and records) and attend planning/status meetings to provide updates.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Due to program requirements, may need to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
