What you will do
- Build and maintain the Operations Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with operational business functions.
- Lead Americas Quality and drive global quality alignment across customers, suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.
- Collect and analyze global quality data on product issues; coordinate cross-regional and cross-functional collaboration to implement solutions.
- Manage Quality Incident Reports (QIRs) from customer sites and ensure aligned containment and corrective actions.
- Establish quality improvement plans for Manufacturing and Logistics; drive supplier quality performance with documented improvement plans.
- Define KPIs and reporting needs with IT and Operations; author and approve quality policies and procedures; train and mentor teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience managing quality programs and processes).
- Minimum 10 years in a senior quality leadership role.
- Proven problem-solving and improvement methods experience (e.g., 5 Whys, DFMEA, PFMEA, process mapping) and root cause/corrective & preventive action determination.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts for process/product variability reduction.
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102.
- Experience with business intelligence, analysis, and reporting; strong written and verbal communication skills.
