What you will do

• Guide customers through dbt Cloud journey from discovery, demos, evaluations to adoption and expansion
• Design enterprise-grade data pipelines in dbt Cloud and articulate business value
• Collaborate on architecture and security approvals with customer contacts
• Work cross-departmentally to build ecosystem and go-to-market motion, including events and partner enablement
• Act as voice of customer internally, providing feedback and roadmap input
• Align with strategic partners like data platforms and consulting firms; travel up to 25%

Requirements

• 4+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI
• Solid technical background in SQL, ETL, and data modelling
• Understanding of modern data warehousing architectures
• Ability to translate technical/business requirements into solutions
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have

• Experience at analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software company
• Knowledge of dbt
• Dimensional Modeling experience
• Traditional Enterprise ETL tools (Informatica, Boomi, Talend, WhereScape)
