Solutions Engineer (Guidewire)

Solutions Engineer (Guidewire): Supports modernization of the data ecosystem including transition from DHIC to CDA architecture that enables access to Guidewire base tables with an accent on building consolidated data assets combining Guidewire with legacy P&C mainframe systems. Focus on Guidewire data integration, P&C reporting solutions, and legacy system data consolidation.

Salary: $105,200 - $147,950

What you will do

• Anticipate IT industry directions and relate them to evolving enterprise data architecture and Guidewire platform capabilities.
• Develop, specify, and communicate technology architecture applicable to the P&C domain.
• Contribute to standards, provide leadership on projects, and work on multiple projects involving Guidewire data integration and legacy consolidation.
• Work across all lifecycle stages for solutions in the business domain.
• Establish standards, interweave technology into business initiatives, and incorporate advancements into existing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent; 4-6 years IT experience in multiple areas; 1-2 years project management.
• Experience with Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), data models, DHIC, and CDA frameworks required.
• Strong SQL for large insurance datasets, database design, SDLC, code repositories, scripting, and design/documentation skills.
• Excellent communication to IT and business, self-motivated, problem-solving, project management, and team-player skills.

• Snowflake data platform and cloud data warehousing.
• dbt for data transformations, testing, and documentation.
