TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Messaging APIs): Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for hirify.global’s SMS and RCS APIs, driving innovation while simplifying the developer experience. Focus on leading the evolution of messaging platform, designing intuitive APIs for billions of interactions, and driving experimentation through betas and A/B tests to achieve product-market fit.

Location: Remote - US, not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas. Occasional travel for meetings may be required.

Estimated pay ranges: $171,120–$213,900 (certain states); $181,200–$226,500 (NY/NJ/WA/CA outside Bay Area); $201,280–$251,600 (SF Bay Area). Eligible for equity, bonus, health insurance, 401(k), paid leave.

What you will do

• Define and own strategy, roadmap, execution for SMS and RCS APIs at global scale.
• Lead evolution of messaging platform, launch cross-channel APIs, evolve legacy ones.
• Design intuitive APIs working backwards from developers and enterprises.
• Gather market intelligence, analyze usage, synthesize insights for innovation.
• Partner with engineering, design, GTM, partners to scope, build, launch features.
• Drive betas, A/B tests, use data/metrics for growth and reliability improvements.
• Mentor teams, champion developer-first culture in remote environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years (7+ preferred) in product management
• Work backwards from customer needs to impactful decisions
• Understanding of B2B/enterprise operations, sales cycles
• Technical: APIs/platform products, designing for reliability, scale, developer usability
• Collaborative, cross-functional in remote global teams; mentoring skills
• Entrepreneurial, scrappy mindset
• BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience scaling products/businesses, zero-to-one innovation
• Advanced degree: MBA or Master’s in CS
