Analytical Chemistry Lab Technician (Semiconductor): Conduct sample analyses for incoming materials and characterization using advanced techniques including ICPMS, LCMS, IC, Assay, and GCMS with an accent on accuracy, precision, and compliance. Focus on sample preparation, data analysis, lab equipment maintenance, and safety in a cleanroom environment.

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, US. Shift 7: AM-PM Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday alternating weeks. This position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $63,090 - $89,060 USD annually (hourly role)

What you will do

• Prepare samples, handle chemicals safely, perform analyses and measurements using ICPMS, LCMS, IC, Assay, GCMS.
• Collect, analyze, summarize data, and present lab reports.
• Maintain, install, and qualify lab equipment; ensure accuracy and precision of tools.
• Drive safety initiatives, quality compliance, and timely delivery of results.
• Develop lab processes, transfer methods, own tools, and cross-train on techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM related to semiconductor manufacturing AND 2+ years maintenance/chemical handling experience -OR- Associate degree in STEM AND 4+ years experience.
• Work in dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, collaborate in teams.
• Comfortable with chemicals (acids, bases, oxidizers, solvents), cleanroom, and standing for hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years in semiconductor or lab facility.
• 1+ years with ICPMS, Assay, GCMS, Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography.
• Familiarity with lab scales and pipetting.
