Clinical Systems Specialist

TL;DR

Clinical Systems Specialist (Clinical Trials): Serve as SME for CTMS, eTMF, and WEPConnect portal, ensuring systems are optimized, users supported, and processes improved with an accent on data reporting, visualization using Power BI, and automation with Power Automate. Focus on developing automated workflows, managing vendor relations, delivering training, and maintaining GxP compliance.

What you will do

• Serve as primary contact for clinical systems questions, issues, and user requests.
• Manage user access, permissions, troubleshooting, study setups, and closeouts.
• Monitor usage, recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Develop automated workflows with Power Automate to streamline tasks and data flow.
• Create documentation, deliver training, and support new hire onboarding.
• Liaise with vendors like Trial Interactive for issue resolution and updates.
• Assist with project tasks like data uploads, entry, and QC reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 3+ years with clinical systems like CTMS/eTMF (Trial Interactive preferred)
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, GxP, and inspection-readiness.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and independent work skills.
• Experience with system administration, configuration, or validation preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate preferred.
