What you will do

• Perform software maintenance and support for Linux, AIX, and PC compatible computers, including network and communication circuits.
• Provide system administration support for PostgreSQL and SYBASE databases and UNIX account management.
• Interface with Space Force and contractor personnel to ensure proper operation of satellite ground systems.
• Identify sources of software and hardware problems, determine appropriate solutions, and document troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in software version testing and evaluation, providing feedback to the development community.
• Ensure all systems adhere to security standards, including DISA STIGs.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required (with the ability to obtain TS/SCI).
• Ability to support 24/7 shift work.
• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in at least one: C, C++, C#, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, UNIX, or PERL.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
• Must be eligible for W2 hourly contract (No C2C, No 1099).

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Background in classified satellite programs.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+).
• Experience with spacecraft anomaly response and resolution.
