Service Designer (12 Month FTC): Shaping experiences rooted in colleague, customer, and business insights, working collaboratively across disciplines to deliver meaningful outcomes. With an accent on advocating for service design, defining effective ways of working, and evolving the craft organisation-wide. Focus on visualising outcomes, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and creating intuitive user experiences with service design artefacts.
Location: Leeds or Bristol (Hybrid: at least 2 days per week or 40% of time in office)
Salary: £61,344 - £68,160

What you will do
- Advocate for service design with product teams and evolve the craft across the organisation.
- Shape experience visions and strategic initiatives led by colleague, customer, business, and market insights.
- Plan, facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to understand context, needs, and risks.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to manage expectations and incorporate perspectives.
- Collaborate with Design Research to define themes, identify issues, and surface risks and pain points.
- Use service design artefacts to create engaging user experiences aligned with business and customer goals.
Requirements
- Highly motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Strong relationship-building skills, credibility with senior audiences, calmness under pressure, and excellent communication.
- Experience using research and design thinking methods.
- Work effectively in agile teams to uncover priorities, visualise outcomes, and define scope.
- Hybrid working: spend at least 2 days/week or 40% time in Leeds or Bristol office (adjustments for disabilities)

- Make strong design decisions prioritising user perspective and measure impact.
- Take ownership of personal development in the craft.
