International Engagement Analyst

TL;DR

International Engagement Analyst: Assist OSD client with relationship-building and achieving outcomes with international allies and partners through vetting, prioritization, planning, and execution of engagements. Focus on coordinating with DoD stakeholders, tracking issues and metrics, developing SOPs, and maintaining collaboration tools.

Location: Full-time onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Travel required: 5% CONUS and 15% OCONUS.

What you will do

• Provide administrative, logistical, and analytical support for vetting, planning, and executing international engagements, including POAMs, invitations, agendas, talking points, briefings, rosters, summaries, and action tracking.
• Coordinate with internal and external DoD stakeholders on meetings, read-aheads, protocols, and engagement aspects.
• Track and analyze issues, priorities, and progress across engagements with POCs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs per DoD requirements, track metrics, and improve processes.
• Maintain SharePoint sites and collaboration tools; support academia or industry engagements as needed.
• Travel to required locations (5% CONUS, 15% OCONUS) and handle other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., event planning, project management, international affairs) or high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience
• 10+ years professional experience
• Prior experience coordinating events/meetings
• Experience supporting GO/FO/SES or similar senior leaders
• Experience with CATMS or similar task management/planning tools
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting OSD-level clients
• Experience with international forums like NATO
• Excellent organizational, communication skills, and attention to detail
