What you will do

• Develop production-quality C++ software including design, coding, documentation, quality assurance, and validation.
• Contribute to requirements generation and architecture design for semi-autonomous and autonomous heavy equipment solutions.
• Support functional safety software design and validation processes.
• Collaborate with team members, prototype solutions, and mentor others to achieve development goals.

Requirements

• Excellency in C++ programming with strong engineering practices, debugging, and profiling skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Problem-solving skills using fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, technical troubleshooting in simulation, HIL, and on-machine environments.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics or vehicle/machine automation projects.
• Knowledge of ROS, planning, positioning, perception, sensing devices.
• Experience in mining/construction, embedded systems, real-time controllers, edge computing.
• Familiarity with telematics, machine protocols, network, and CAN.
• Ability to implement research from literature into production code.
