What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance, distributed, and fault-tolerant software components for the Universal Directory platform.
• Develop frameworks and tooling to support the identity management group's codebase and deployment processes.
• Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to scope and execute development work.
• Conduct high-quality code reviews and implement automated testing to ensure system reliability.
• Deliver rapid bug fixes and resolve complex customer-reported issues within the platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)
• 7+ years of software development experience in Java, with significant experience using Hibernate and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable services, internal tools, and frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience automating and deploying large-scale production services in AWS, GCP, or similar cloud environments.
• Strong practical understanding of SQL databases.
• Experience working with systems of scale, ranging from monolithic applications to microservices.

Nice to have

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with the Go programming language.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Active Directory or Microsoft Azure.
