What you will do
- Define and communicate the technical vision, ensuring best practices in architecture and emerging technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and CTOs, translating business objectives into tailored technical strategies.
- Oversee technical execution to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability across multiple projects.
- Lead, mentor, and staff senior software development teams to foster a culture of excellence.
- Manage project financials, optimize resource allocation, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Champion industry influence through open-source contributions and technical thought leadership.
Requirements
- 15+ years of technical leadership experience in consulting, SaaS, or large-scale digital transformation.
- Must be based in Canada and authorized to work without sponsorship.
- Deep expertise in software architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.
- Proven track record in pre-sales, discovery, and solution design for complex projects.
- Hands-on experience with AI, databases, and distributed systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence at all levels.

- Experience working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
- Background in financial oversight of technology projects.
- Contributions to open-source projects or public technical speaking.
