What you will do
- Lead team delivery, prioritize features from product teams, and contribute hands-on to development as needed (20% time).
- Develop talents through feedback, mentoring, growth support, and performance management.
- Strengthen team by hiring for scaling, managing rotations with mobile squads, and fostering healthy non-burnout culture.
- Oversee performance, ensure on-time delivery aligned with business goals, and solve complex challenges.
- Shape backend architecture, design, and Golang implementation for high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- 1+ years managing small engineering teams (5-8 people) in fast-paced settings, preferably fintech with Go stack.
- Strong skills in hiring, development, performance, delivery management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- 4+ years as Go developer with technical background for architectural discussions and solution validation.
- Experience building/optimizing processes (planning, decomposition, retrospectives).
- Diplomacy and ability to advocate for team with reasoned arguments.
