What you will do

• Design modern data lake architectures and select appropriate data integration patterns.
• Develop guardrails to ensure standard compliance, including naming conventions, typing, and versioning.
• Create a schema evolution playbook to manage breaking and non-breaking changes.
• Implement DDD and event modeling to handle hierarchical data structures and referential relationships.
• Manage the provisioning, maintenance, and archiving of data within source systems and data lakes.
• Define guidelines for event design, including the scope, boundaries, and responsibilities of topics.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of modern data lake architectures.
• Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or Azure Service Bus.
• Expertise in CloudEvents, JSON, and AVRO.
• Knowledge of schema governance, data contracts, and DDD.
• Experience building data meshes or comprehensive data platforms.
• Industry expertise in financial services.
