What you will do

• Design and deliver high-level and low-level architecture based on evolving business requirements.
• Extend and evolve an enterprise data platform on GCP to support new use cases and scalability needs.
• Own the technical expertise and strategic vision of the entire data platform, including data mesh tooling.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support to engineering teams to resolve technical blockers.
• Collaborate with data engineers and enterprise architects to turn strategic vision into scalable solutions.
• Support the development and evolution of a modern data mesh architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Platform Architect or Senior Data Engineer.
• Expertise in GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Dataform, Dataplex, and GKE.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD practices with GitLab CI.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Java, Python, or Bash.
• Deep knowledge of data mesh architecture and distributed systems.
• Must be based in Bulgaria, Poland, or Ukraine.

Nice to have

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certifications.
