What you will do

• Analyze final test data and electrical characteristics to identify yield loss drivers and performance gaps.
• Diagnose root causes of yield issues and drive structured improvement activities.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key yield and product performance trends.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to implement improvements enhancing yield and device performance.
• Lead product qualification, release activities, and new process recipe validation from yield and performance perspectives.
• Conduct failure analysis on devices and define rework or corrective actions.
• Support Quality Assurance on customer returns and provide technical input to Design, Process, and Test teams.

Requirements

• HNC/D or degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, ideally in Product, Test, or Yield Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with statistical tools like JMP or Minitab.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device behavior and electrical characterization.
• Ability to translate data into process improvements and manage technical projects in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma: DMAIC, 5-Why, A3, 8D).
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings.

Nice to have

• Experience with power semiconductor devices (Thyristors, IGBTs, Diodes, GTOs).
• Hands-on experience with electrical characterization or final test equipment.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
