What you will do
- Coordinate with Product Management on customer insights, lean experiments, and market intelligence to define needs.
- Translate high-level user stories into detailed technical items with success metrics.
- Maintain prioritized product backlogs with ruthless prioritization and organizational rigor.
- Advocate for platform priorities across development teams and negotiate competing demands.
- Own product lifecycle, sprint planning, and releases aligned to roadmap.
- Ensure product compliance with security, privacy, accessibility standards and integrations (e.g., EHR, LMS).
- Collaborate with other Product Owners for consistent development approaches and efficiencies.
- Serve as subject matter expert for feature updates across Product, Tech, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams.
Requirements
- College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years in digital product development with Agile/Scrum teams or nursing practice market solutions.
- Experience translating user needs/market trends into practical plans.
- Strong knowledge of full product development lifecycle from concept to post-launch.
- Proven ability to define workflow/UX requirements meeting business goals.
- Working knowledge of LMS integrations, CE/credentialing, enterprise software (search, ecommerce).
- Strong communication, project management, scheduling, and budgeting skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data analytics (Google, Qualtrics) and dashboards.
- Exposure to WCAG accessibility requirements.
- Scrum Master or Product Owner certification (Scrum Alliance).
- Experience with customer communications, product demos, escalations.
- Backlog tools (Jira, VSO, Trello, Wrike) and comms apps (Slack, MS Teams).
