TL;DR
Technical Product Manager (Platform Team): Treat platform capabilities and internal developer tooling as products with an accent on enabling product teams through vision, roadmaps, and technical priorities aligned with company strategy. Focus on continuous discovery of engineering pain points, end-to-end program execution, and cross-functional coordination to deliver high-value platform solutions.
Location: Fixed hybrid role on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at HQ in Maple Plain, MN. Only open to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status due to ITAR regulations. Individuals with temporary visas (e.g., E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, OPT) are not eligible.
Salary: $107,400 - $143,000 a year

What you will do
- Define and communicate platform vision and roadmap aligned with strategic objectives and market needs
- Translate business goals into technical priorities, acceptance criteria, and requirements considering stakeholder and operational needs
- Conduct continuous discovery to identify and solve engineering team pain points
- Manage end-to-end planning and execution of concurrent technical programs including timelines and dependencies
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on architecture, design, and agile planning
- Track success metrics, analyze performance data, and iterate based on feedback
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate strategy to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years managing multi-team programs with cross-functional dependencies
- Experience with Agile practices at team and program levels (Scrum, PI planning, SAFe or equivalent)
- Understanding of platform as product treating engineering teams as customers
- Strong technical fluency in developer tooling, architecture, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and eventing
- Strong communication skills for PRDs, RFCs, and translating between technical and business stakeholders
- Outcome-driven prioritization using data and feedback
- Proven program planning, execution, facilitation, and risk mitigation skills
Nice to have
- Strong familiarity with developer tooling: CI/CD, IaC, containers/Kubernetes, observability, incident management
- Experience with cloud platforms, platform security (IAM, secrets, policy-as-code), and common tooling (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Backstage)
- Experience supporting multiple technical stacks
