Location: Hybrid in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines (2-3 days in office or client sites for collaboration)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using GCP services, analysing business needs and recommending optimal technologies.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Deployment Manager, optimising costs through rightsizing and reserved instances.
• Implement security controls, monitor for vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Monitor performance with Stackdriver or Prometheus, perform root cause analysis, and enhance resilience via fault-tolerance and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate on-site for customer meetings, workshops, and high-stakes problem-solving at the intersection of technology, design, and human behaviour.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with GCP (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Build), AWS, or Azure
• Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and scripting in Python, Go, or Bash
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, compliance in cloud/Linux environments
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Professional Google Cloud certification (current or desired)

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries like finance or healthcare
