TL;DR

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Supporting the reliability, availability, and performance of a fintech platform with an accent on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and production stability. Focus on designing scalable infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing observability in a high-transaction environment.

Location: Hybrid: Onsite 4x per month in Makati City, Manila

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform day-to-day production troubleshooting, performance tuning, and improve monitoring and observability.
  • Own assigned services and respond to production incidents, contributing to root cause analysis (RCA) and long-term fixes.
  • Support and manage reliability metrics including SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs.
  • Collaborate with SREs, developers, and security teams to reduce technical debt and implement platform standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production stability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting and solid SQL skills for workload analysis.
  • Experience with Kafka (AWS MSK or Confluent) and monitoring tools like Datadog, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Makati City, Manila.

Nice to have

  • Experience in 24/7 or high-transaction production environments.
  • Cloud or platform-related professional certifications.
  • Exposure to fintech or highly regulated systems.
