What you will do

• Design and develop tools like parsers and dashboards for automated hardware verification and productivity.
• Build closed-loop hardware testing infrastructure for network switches using Python and Go.
• Integrate tools into Arista's unified ecosystem and automate manual processes into data-driven workflows.
• Drive quality code development processes, mentor others, and align team priorities for maximum impact.
• Monitor, report on, and maintain tools and infrastructure for a 100+ engineer hardware team.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to identify and implement efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Golang
• Experience developing in Linux environment
• Strong desire to improve processes through automation
• Self-motivated, open to new ideas, curious about engineering disciplines
• Experience in multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Prior experience developing and maintaining services
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and tools
• Exposure to hardware design, verification, and analysis
