What you will do

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure to support continuous integration and deployment
• Automate development, testing, and release processes to enhance efficiency
• Test code, analyze results, ensure security and performance requirements
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and manage infrastructure projects for reliability and scalability
• Handle code deployments across environments and monitor system performance metrics
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship and ensure configuration standards consistency

Requirements

• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in DevOps, IT operations, cloud engineering, or software development. Or Master’s degree with 6+ years
• Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Proficiency in IaC technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services; expertise in cloud platforms including associated DevOps tools
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes; advanced scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification; at least one cloud certification

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, threat detection, and incident response
• Understanding of networking principles, load balancing, and high-availability architectures
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps principles
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers
