What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering Arize deployments in customer-managed environments.
• Develop tooling and infrastructure to package, test, and deliver reliable self-hosted releases.
• Work across the stack with Go, Java, Python, and Bazel for reproducible builds and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with customers to translate infrastructure constraints into robust deployment architectures.
• Build and optimize services supporting high-volume analytics in resource-constrained or isolated environments.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and upgradeability for distributed deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with high-performance backend systems
• Enthusiasm for AI and LLM ecosystem
• Previous work building and operating highly complex platforms/systems
• Knowledge of public clouds and container orchestration (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes)
• Ability to operate with autonomy and ownership in a small, fast-moving team

Nice to have

• Familiarity with packaging, release engineering, or reproducible build systems (e.g., Bazel)
