Salary: $187,200 - $234,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the internal developer platform, including self-service tooling and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Architect and evolve core developer experience systems, such as internal developer portals and AI-assisted workflows.
• Own the developer productivity metrics strategy using frameworks like DORA and SPACE to measure effectiveness.
• Identify high-friction areas in the software delivery lifecycle and design iterative, high-impact solutions.
• Lead the adoption and governance of AI-powered developer tools across the engineering organization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers of all levels to raise the bar for quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, specifically in platform engineering or developer experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and developer tooling.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript, or equivalent modern languages.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, CircleCI), and infrastructure-as-code.
• Must be based in the United States; E-verify will be used for eligibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic and LLM-powered developer tools (AI code review, PR assistants).
• Strong grounding in SRE fundamentals, including SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Experience with observability and platform telemetry to generate productivity insights.
