What you will do

• Define and steer medium/long-term architectural strategies for AWS platforms ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Deliver reference implementations, golden path templates, and standardized scaffolding for high-performance builds.
• Engineer GitOps with ArgoCD/Flux, Flagger for progressive rollouts, and GitHub Actions for safe continuous delivery.
• Optimize Kubernetes with Karpenter, HPA/KEDA autoscaling, Istio service mesh, and event topologies on Kafka.
• Implement full observability with OpenTelemetry/New Relic, SLOs/error budgets, and SRE practices.
• Drive security with OAuth2/JWT, policy-as-code, secrets management, and compliance (PCI-DSS, LGPD).
• Promote AI-assisted engineering, FinOps, and technical governance for developer productivity.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science/Engineering; expert in Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript/Python.
• Mastery of DDD, microservices, high availability; deep Bazel knowledge.
• Expert AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.); IaC with Terraform/Pulumi.
• Kubernetes internals (Karpenter, Istio, Argo/Flux); SRE resilience patterns, SLOs.
• Security (OPA/Rego, container security); observability (OpenTelemetry, New Relic).
• DevEx: Internal Developer Portals, ephemeral envs, GitHub Actions, feature flags.
• Fintech/regulated experience; translate compliance to automated patterns; strong leadership/communication.
