Senior DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Maintaining and scaling cloud infrastructure for a growing fintech platform with an accent on EKS, CI/CD automation, and observability. Focus on building AI Operations tooling for automated infrastructure reviews, runbook generation, and deployment anomaly detection.

Location: Hybrid in Limassol or fully remote outside office locations. Relocation to Cyprus is supported (visa and package).

What you will do

• Maintain and upgrade Managed EKS clusters, develop Helm charts, and administer Istio service mesh.
• Develop and own CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and manage GitOps workflows via ArgoCD.
• Operate AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Kafka clusters with tested recovery procedures.
• Maintain the observability stack including VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK/OpenSearch.
• Integrate LLM-based tooling into CI/CD for automated infrastructure reviews and anomaly detection.
• Build infrastructure for internal AI services, LLM gateways, and model proxies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud/DevOps/SRE designing scalable high-load services.
• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and AWS as the primary cloud provider.
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD, Helm, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora administration and replication concepts.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio traffic policies.
• Production experience with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs or AI agent infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DORA requirements and resilience testing.
