TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps/AI): Building and evolving the internal platform to empower engineering teams with tools and infrastructure with an accent on developer productivity and reliability. Focus on designing AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows to automate repetitive engineering tasks.
Location: Must be based in Canada (Remote with optional office access in Montreal and Toronto)
Salary: $170,000–$220,000 CAD

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure that supports the growing platform.
- Develop internal tooling and automation, implementing infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices.
- Build and maintain observability systems including monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
- Design and build AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows to augment engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with product engineers on infrastructure design and operational best practices.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Strong programming experience in Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment systems.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance.
- Experience building tools or workflows that leverage AI/LLMs.
- Must be based in Canada; English fluency required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ArgoCD, Helm, or Datadog.
- Experience building infrastructure in fintech or high-compliance environments.
- Familiarity with Bitcoin.
