What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day activities of accounting and regulatory engagements and manage client relationships.
• Assist clients with the accounting and financial reporting impacts of M&A, financing events, and complex transactions.
• Prepare financial reporting deliverables for IPOs and ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements (10-Ks, 10-Qs).
• Perform research and document conclusions in technical accounting areas.
• Remediate internal control deficiencies and prepare disclosures for complex financial restatements.
• Coach and mentor staff while maintaining the company's culture and code of conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting and a valid CPA license (or foreign equivalent).
• 6+ years of public accounting experience with 2+ years of team supervision.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Deep, up-to-date knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 30% based on client needs.
• Experience at a Big 4 or other national accounting firm with refined presentation skills.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of public accounting specifically working with public companies.
• Experience within the National Office of a public accounting firm.
• Specialization in Revenue Recognition.
• Proficiency in using technology tools to discharge daily responsibilities.
