Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Senior Accountant (NetSuite): Own accuracy and timeliness of expenses, accruals, and month-end close across global multi-entity business with an accent on automation and AI-assisted workflows. Location: Hybrid from New Jersey, Philadelphia, or Raleigh offices; on-site presence required at least three days per week. Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually

What you will do

• Own general ledger accounting and month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and reporting.
• Prepare and review accruals across multi-entity global organization, partnering with FP&A, AP, and budget stakeholders across time zones.
• Identify, implement, and maintain best-in-class systems, processes, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Support external audit requests, internal controls documentation, and technical accounting research.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• 2-6 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated track record of automating and improving accounting processes.
• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA).
• General ledger and accounting systems experience; NetSuite a plus.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across time zones and cultures; flexibility with shifting priorities.
