What you will do

• Conceive, develop, and iterate ride and show design elements including scenery, props, special effects, audio/lighting equipment into high-quality show set design packages.
• Design scenic, environmental, architectural elements focusing on sightlines, scale, and facility integration across development phases.
• Develop and manage show set design packages with sketches, storyboards, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and presentation materials.
• Participate in design, cost, schedule, and technical reviews to create feasible solutions for themed environments.
• Mentor staff on technical skills and career goals, lead teams, and implement show set design standards and procedures.
• Build team relationships, communicate project intent, and participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Fine Arts, Design, Theatre, Graphics, Computer Animation, or related field preferred.
• Experience in attraction development with successful delivery of several show set design packages required.
• Creative problem-solver proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; 3D modeling and rendering skills preferred.
• Strong technical and artistic skills in scenic design, drafting, architectural design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work in collaborative environments with aesthetic, technical, and project management disciplines.
